With Stage 4 restrictions now in place in Melbourne we'd like to bring you up to date on how Luna has been affected by, and is handling this crisis.

As we primarily are an online retail store we are permitted to operate under stage 4 restrictions. There are no restrictions on customers purchasing "non essential" products online and having them delivered to you. We have a diverse array of wonderful customers across the nation who purchase our products for weddings and events, homeware linen basics, fabric and craft material. We are also proud to supply linen to essential government and private organisations such as schools, councils and community care and charities.

Throughout the pandemic we are take social distancing and hygiene measures very seriously. The safety of our team is paramount and we have gone above and beyond with what has been required by law. We are fortunate to only need a maximum of 3 staff on-site at any given time in our large warehouse to process and dispatch our online orders safely and efficiently, while others work remotely. Everyone has large, seperate, enclosed work spaces and all hygiene supplies and equipment is supplied. We have contactless deliveries and dispatch with our couriers which occurs in an outdoor carpark.

Dispatch / Shipping:

We are still dispatching all online orders daily Mon-Fri while observing strict hygiene and social distancing guidelines well beyond the gov requirement.

Since the start of the pandemic there have been some very minor, occasional delays to postage services, so allowing an extra day or 2 to be on the safe side is a good idea. 

Orders placed by 1pm (excluding Star Track or Couriers Please Services) will be shipped the same day (mon-fri) from our warehouse. If you need something to go out urgently and wish to discuss postage please call us.

Customer enquiries are still being taken by phone as usual and this will not change as customer service can occur remotely when needed. We encourage you to call and talk through anything you need. Our customer service are highly knowledgable on our products and can solve pretty much anything remotely. :)

Pickup - Online Order Click and Collect from Bayswater VIC:

During stage 4 restrictions (from the 2nd of August) we've decided to remove Click and Collect Pickup as an option on checkout. Although we are legally allowed to offer it, we want to keep our staff as safe as possible and limit confusion for what is already a confusing time for Victorians on what they are permitted to leave home for, and how far they can travel for it. If you do live within the 5km radius of our warehouse though and wish to pickup a rather than receive delivery, please call our office to arrange a contactless pickup.
