Chair Covers

We don't offer chair covers for hire at all. Every chair cover on our site is sold outright, so there's no rental agreement, no per-event fee, and no returning them after the big day. Once you buy a set, it's yours to keep and reuse for every wedding or party that follows. If you've been comparing chair covers hire against buying outright, owning your own set usually pays for itself after just the second or third use, and after that you're saving money every time.

Lycra and spandex are two names for the same stretch fabric, so when people search for spandex chair covers, they're looking for the same product we list as lycra chair covers. The fabric hugs the chair frame for a neat, fitted look rather than a loose drape. We stock a few different weights, from a light 160gsm through to a firmer 210gsm. Pair them with our lycra chair bands for a contrast trim around the middle.

Our dining chair covers, sometimes called toppers, slip over the top of a dining, tub, or banquet chair back without covering the legs. Chair sashes are sold on their own, so you can mix and match them with any chair cover colour. A sash is simply a strip of fabric, satin, organza, or hessian, tied around the chair back to add a splash of colour or a bow. Combining a plain chair cover with a patterned or coloured sash is one of the easiest ways to lift a room's look.

Machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle and skip the high heat setting on the dryer, since heat can loosen the stretch in the fabric over time. Fold or roll them for storage rather than leaving them creased in a bag, and they should hold their shape for many events.
